Repurposing an Empty Nest 2011 Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia - Award of Recognition for the fine work completed on historic property

The Zuckers' plan for "aging in place" required an architect. Friends suggested Phase 2 Architecture & Interiors in Jenkintown. Jay Leistner and his associate, Peg MacDonald, worked on a design that features a master-suite addition - a spacious bedroom trimmed in warm maple, a gracious bathroom, a sitting area lined on one wall with window seats, and a generous closet space.
